Abbey National - Inscape
Budget: £260,000
Technologies employed: HTML, JSP, ASP, Flash
Website: http://www.inscape.com
The Client
Abbey National was launching a new division aimed at high income clients (typically
more than £50,000 in savings). As part of a major offline and online advertising
campaign they required the developent of a inscape branded website - inscape.com.
The Project
Involved a two phase website the first as part of a large online and offline
marketing campaign, the second phase introduced an online secure account management
system. The project also involved creating an online brand and an iTV version
for NTL's Liberate platform.
My Role
Project Manager
The Politics
For Answerthink, the project was something of a political 'hot potato', after
a period of over 6 months during which the project had stalled, I was brought
in to manage the project on the basis of my success in turning round a similarly
difficult project for Du Pont.
The Outcome
The site was launched on time to coincide with a fixed date offline marketing
and PR launch. A banner advertising campaign across the major financial portals
and e-magazines.
